Oil – 1 Tbsp
Chana Dal – 1 Tsp
Urad Dal – 1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli – 3 Nos
Green Chilli Chopped
Asafoetida Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
1. Wash a raw mango, peel off the skin, grate and keep it aside.
2. Take a pan and pour oil in it.
3. Add chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, red chilies, peanuts and roast.
4. Next add asafoetida powder, curry leaves and roast.
5. To this add grated raw mango, green chilies, ginger and saute.
6. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix everything well.
7. To this mixture, add the cooked rice and give it all a quick mix.
8. Serve the Raw Mango Rice hot with fried papads by the side.
