1. USE LUKE WARM WATER
Hot showers are tempting but avoid them if you love your skin. Hot showers dry your skin quickly, instead use Luke warm water to shower and wash your face.

2. HYDRATION
Be it inside your home or outside, the air is drier in winter. And as a result, water evaporates from your body easily. Hence, you need to keep your skin hydrated.

3. EXFOLIATE
You have to be careful during winters because your skin barrier is already compromised due to the dry and cold weather. Exfoliating your skin once a week is fine.

4. MOISTURISE
Switch to an oil-based moisturiser in the winter. Moisturise particularly dry areas like hands feet elbows knees and lips. Cover with cotton gloves and socks to hold the moisture in all night long.

5. SUNSCREEN
You need to protect your skin from the cold wind or snow or rain if you are stepping out in winter. The warm sun rays feel pleasant, but the UV rays can still damage your skin a lot.
